The Mill and its stunning surroundings are open to the Public for 1 day only as part of the European Heritage Open Day 2018 in conjunction with the DfC. \nThere will be a guided walk around the Estate at 10am where you can take in:\n• The Listed Railway Bridge\, designed and engineered by John Lanyon circa 1860.\n• The Stunning Grade B1 Listed Mill Buildings and Beetling Sheds.\n• An extensive selection of Trees and Fauna\, including the only place in Ireland to see the River Water Crowfoot (http://www.habitas.org.uk/priority/species.asp?item=2725).\n• The old Mill Race & Turbines which have been restored to working order\, see them in action.\n• The only site in Northern Ireland where 8 different species of bats call home\, hear them in some of the old Tree Trunks.\n• If your very lucky\, the elusive river otter has also been known to make an appearance on the banks of the Six Mile River. \nFeel free to extend this invite to any of your pupils/friends/colleagues or members and if you are planning to attend\, or have any questions\, can you please rsvp to Richard.Lutton@karl.co.uk by the 5th of September. \nEvent submitted by Richard Lutton

SUMMARY:Coffee Morning & Car Wash
DESCRIPTION:A team of 10 people from 1st Donegore Presbyterian are travelling to Tanzania with local charity\, kids4school\, to take part in a work and witness programme at the end of June. \nIn partnership with our Boys Brigade we are holding a Coffee Morning and Car Wash.  All funds raised will go towards much needed refurbishment of water collection equipment to enable children in Tanzania to have access to clean drinking water. \n \nAlso\, we are asking for donations of new\, or good quality second-hand children’s clothing to take to families in Tanzania. Items required: football shirts\, t-shirts\, boys shorts\, summer skirts and dresses\, flip-flops and light plimsolls (gutties!). \nClothes donations may be brought to the Church Halls on the day of the coffee morning\, or at other times dropped into boxes in the Choir Room in the Church or upstairs in the Youth Room in the Church Halls. \nMany thanks. \nEvent submitted by Sue Cunningham
